Students at Cobham Hall recently took to the stage to perform their annual spring term show.

Students from all year groups performed Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ to a packed audience at the school’s Gilt Hall, with those who arrived early able to experience a medieval fayre event run by the sixth form.

One parent described the show as “worthy of the West End”, adding that that she had “no idea that a school production could be so professional”.

Claire Ruby, a new teacher at Cobham Hall, commented: “I only started working at Cobham Hall this term as a drama tutor and have been blown away by the talent I have seen.  It was absolutely enchanting and the cast were exceptional. Each and everyone gave it their all, the lead roles were extremely talented, the backstage crew worked their socks off, the music was beautiful and the show was an absolute joy to watch!”

The performance was described as a “fairy-tale ending for the Year 13s”, who will be leaving the school at the end of the academic year.
