Individual honours went to Harry Fradley, 17, who won the Under 18 and Under 21 singing categories as well as the Under 21 Woodwind Solo. One of the youngest competitors in the competition, Huw Lloyd, 10, also took the Under 12 Singing and Under 12 Musical Theatre titles against 28 other competitors.

Tony Coupe, Director of Music, said “I am so proud of all our outstanding achievements at the Youth Music Festival. As individuals and as ensembles they rose to the occasion ensuring great success across the board. We intend to build on from this success through the development of a musical culture at the school, which is focused on passion, enjoyment and hard work”.
