This film is Dauntsey’s girls tribute to the This Girl Can campaign launched by Sport England to inspire women of all ages to participate in physical activity.
No matter what your shape, size or ability is, there’s a sport for every girl. Enjoying sport – any sport – at school instils a love of sport for life.
We are proud of the level and range of participation in sport by every girl at Dauntsey’s but we recognise that there are huge pressures on us, from the media and our peers, to look a certain way. This government campaign aims to encourage girls not to worry about their image, to be active, to exercise together and to feel empowered by their participation.
In the spirit of the This Girl Can campaign, we wanted to celebrate the energy, the enthusiasm, the strength and the talent of all the girls at Dauntsey’s.
Filmed in just one day at Dauntsey’s, this film does just that and we hope you like our tribute.
