A squad of Downside Under 15 Netball players entered the Somerset County Tournament last week. The girls finished in third place, after beating King’s College Taunton in the play offs. This is a tremendous achievement at county level and they should be rightly proud of themselves.
The girls represented the School and themselves in the best possible way throughout the day, receiving a great deal of positive praise from opposition staff and parents for their evident team spirit and all round good play on court.
It was an amazing afternoon of netball for all involved, a memorable day for Downside and one that the girls and staff involved with will not forget for a long time!
