The three day, two night expedition involved a stop at two different campsites giving the girls the opportunity to use their skills for cooking and tent assembling. Putting their compass and map-reading skills to use, they made their way northwards from Sizewell A power station to Southwold. A slight re-route onto the beach caused them to stumble across Dara, a rather large piece of driftwood which they dutifully carried for the rest of the expedition.
We are delighted to say that all the girls completed the expedition and our thanks go to the expedition organizers, Mrs Grove, Mr Johnston and Miss Mann.
