At the finals of the In2Hockey Championships at Cannock Hockey Club, Eagle House U13 Girls were crowned 
National Champions winning in the final 5 – 0 against Blundells School.
The competition, organised by England Hockey, is an annual fixture welcoming schools who have qualified from the regions.
The girls are coached by former GB and England Hockey player, Mark Pearn, who teaches at Eagle House. This is a superb achievement winning against tough opposition in this national competition.
Pearn, who is also player coach at East Grinstead Hockey Club, was delighted with the girls’ win. “Their focus and commitment against strong opposition has been wonderful to see.’
Eagle House girls have also just won the U12 Netball Nationals in a competition held at Wellington College.
