Edge Grove pupils awarded record number of scholarships to senior schools

Pupils from Edge Grove, a co-educational preparatory school in Hertfordshire, have achieved amazing success in gaining 14 scholarship offers from senior schools as diverse as Harrow, Felsted, Queenswood and St Albans Boys' School.

Edge Grove School pupilsAmong the awards are academic scholarships to St Albans Boys' School and Downe House with offers of sports, music and drama awards to Berkhamsted. Other schools offering scholarship awards to Edge Grove pupils this year include Bedford, Queen Anne's Caversham, Aldenham, Princess Helena's, Royal Masonic, Harrow, Felsted and Queenswood, .

‘The pupils who sat the Downe House scholarship papers picked up a great number of A* grades across all subjects, and one of the pupils has, quite amazingly, been offered scholarships to three other senior schools,’ says the Headmaster, Mike Davies. Several other pupils also met with success at more than one school, receiving offers of music and sports scholarships in addition to academic awards.

‘I do congratulate all of these children on their outstanding achievements,’ says Mr Davies.
