Over 100 Year 5 pupils enjoyed a magical day on Thursday when they took part in the College's popular maths Epsom College magic mathsworkshop, a Mathmagical Adventure.

Throughout the day, in colour-coded teams of 10, the pupils from Broomwood Hall and St Martin's Church of England Junior School, accompanied by their teachers, completed mathematical tasks designed to help them develop their problem-solving skills as they worked their way through the Mathmagical Adventure.

Organised by mathematics master, Peter Thompson, who played the role of the Marvellous Master Mathmagician, and hosted by the College's Mathematics Department, the event proved to be highly enjoyable for all the participants.

College U4 maths students were on hand to help the "Apprentice and Trainee Mathmagicians" as they attempted to unravel the mathmagical mystery of disappearing numbers.

A large gathering of parents watched the final session in Big School before joining their children for tea in Main Hall.
