Old Epsomian Rochelle Smith, a Pre-Med student at Birkbeck University of London, is climbing rapidly up the Epsom College Rochelle RugbyEngland Women's Rugby ladder.

Already a member of the England U20s squad, she was recently selected for this season's England Development 7s and has also been training this month with the full Women's Elite Playing Squad (EPS).

Rochelle will be playing for the England U20s in home and away spring international fixtures against France, the first of which takes place on 23rd February at Esher RFC, as well as some major 7s tournaments in the summer.

She is also in with a chance of making an appearance for the senior England squad in this year's RBS Six Nations competition and could even win a full England cap before her first England U20 cap.

A member of Saracens Amateur RFC, Rochelle has previously represented Surrey and London & South East Division at both rugby and hockey and captained the girls' 1st XV whilst at Epsom. She is the first female College rugby player to be selected for international honours.
