Papatya Kaya Presenting Cheque to NRASWellington Prep School pupils and staff have raised a substantial amount of money for charity.

Pupils held a variety of events over the past year, including a whole school Swimathon, cake sales, a French Café and a disco. Their tireless efforts raised £2,000 for NRAS – the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society. This initiative was driven by Year 7 pupil Papatya Kaya, whose mother Tracey Kaya is a teacher at the School and suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Papatya and Deputy Head Martin Stepney presented the cheque to Janet Wagstaff and Lizzie Spence from the South West Self Support group, which is set up by NRAS to help sufferers.
