Over 100 Farlington day girls, boarders, mothers and staff took part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life at Horsham Park on Sunday 7th June.
This was Team Farlington’s second year of participating in the 5k race which was held in searing heat in and around Horsham Park. The carnival atmosphere kept all runners, joggers and walkers going to finish the event.
Sara Whittaker, Farlington’s Director of PE and Games, said, “Sunday was a great event for an important cause. To have so many women and girls from the School participate was excellent and we are well on our way to exceeding our fundraising target.”
