'Educating for Confidence' is Farlington's strapline; although classroom learning and examination success are a very 
important part of what we do, we believe true education is about far more.
We strive to equip young people with the knowledge they require to make informed decisions about their future and in their adult lives.
At a Careers Fair held last Tuesday, professionals came and spoke to the girls and their parents about their work, the routes into their profession and what employers are looking for when recruiting.
Aviation to Zoology, (well, Veterinary!) and a wide range of careers in between, were well represented, including Film Production, Marketing, Law and Medicine, and the girls gained a huge amount of first-hand information from the mentors.
Local business people volunteered their time and expertise alongside parents and friends of Farlington and all worked together to make this a very successful event, giving the girls much to think about.
