Unfortunately there was no glamorous attire or even horses at Epsom Downs, but rather Oxford and Cambridge professors trying to encourage us to apply for their universities!
We listened to various lectures on the application process and our preferred subjects.
We were thoroughly inspired to aim high when it comes to university choice and make sure we are passionate and enthusiastic about the subject we are applying to study at degree level. RBS explained that going to university is financially viable for all students and there are high employment opportunities after university.
We also got a taste of university lectures with the Oxford law professor Thomas Creebs questioning whether you can actually write a cheque on a cow! Overall we had a very enjoyable and exciting day out!
