Students at Felsted School have received many offers from universities, with 122 of these from Russell Group Universities, including three from Cambridge.

A number of these are unconditional offers, with other pupils having received offers from top universities and business schools in Europe and the USA. Others from the sixth form are in the final interview stages for leading degree apprenticeships.

Tilly Wigan has received an offer of A*AA to read Modern Languages (French and Spanish) at Cambridge.

She joined Felsted in the Sixth Form and studies A Levels in French, Spanish and Psychology. Tilly went on a trip to Uganda last summer, where she helped improve learning for the children at Felsted’s partner School, Great Lakes High, through the Teach Uganda charity scheme.

She said: “I have had so much support from everyone at Felsted, especially the Modern Foreign Languages department who have really helped me improve my confidence and prepare for my interview.”

Jack Huang has received an offer of A*A*A to read Mathematics at Cambridge; an ideal step towards his career ambition of becoming a Professor.

Olga Adhikari has also gained an offer from Cambridge to read Asian and Middle Eastern Studies with Persian and Arabic. Olga, a school prefect, is currently taking the IB Diploma studying Biology, History and English at Higher Level.

These offers reflect the government league table release last week that saw Felsted top in Essex and in the top 5% of schools in the UK for academic progress at A Levels.
