Fifteen Selected to be Part of National Netball Academies

IMG_8380Taunton School netballers are celebrating a highly successful summer, with fifteen girls selected to be part of the England Netball Pathway. 

The England Netball Pathway gives girls the chance to train and play alongside elite netballers and be tutored by the top coaches in the region.

Megan Conabeare and Ellie-May Vohra have both been selected for the Team Bath U19 Futures Academy, Eleri Brown and Daisy West selected for the Severn Stars U17 Nova Academy and Isla May for the Team Bath U17 Hub. Ruby Cooney, Flora Collier, Martha Mileham and Lara Heames have all been selected for the U16 Somerset County Academy whilst Leila Fisher, Hetty James, Kara Klimczak-Gange, Verity Winsor, Emily Halliday and Georgia-Bella Kingswell have been selected for the U14 Somerset Satellite Academy.

Head of Netball at Taunton School Lisa Manley commented: “I’m very proud of all of our netballers performing at such a high level. To have this many from one school selected is a testament to their hard work and talent. Congratulations to all the girls on these great achievements
