Former Bearwood College Pupil is Total Wipeout Winner

Former Bearwood pupil wins Total WipeoutScott Pryor, who left Bearwood College in 2008, has become Series Champion of hit TV show, Total Wipeout.
Total Wipeout describes itself as 'the biggest, brashest and most exhausting game show on television" and the extreme obstacle course faced by participants includes crossing a punching wall, leaping across four gigantic red balls, crossing a pool of high-rise inflatables, high speed scrambling and daring jumps, all against the clock.

Scott was a popular pupil and Head Boy at the Wokingham co-ed independent school where he studied English Literature, Psychology, History and PE in the Sixth Form. He was always a strong athlete and played rugby, football and ran the 100m for the College. Head of Physical Education, Jason Dance, commented “Scott was an excellent athlete but also a great scholar to have at College. He was intelligent, hard working and he was the Senior Prefect (Head Boy). He was also outstanding on the football & cricket tour of Barbados” Scott won the Senior Victor Ludorum, the award for the best all-round athlete at sports day, for three successive years during his time at Bearwood; a portent of his television success.

Presented by Amanda Bryam and Top Gear's Richard Hammond the show has been an instant hit with viewers delighted by the determination and energy of the contestants in their quest to conquer the course.
