The Godolphin Prep Choir, made up of girls from Year 3 to Year 6, went carolling at the new Salisbury godolphin choirChristmas Market. Dressed in their smart red and blue uniforms, they made a pretty picture on the steps of the Guild Hall with the big Christmas tree off to one side.

The girls sang a selection of carols and well known Christmas songs, led by the Prep Director of Music, Ms Hannaleen van der Merwe. The crowd were invited to sing along and many did with gusto.

Standing in the crowd you could hear the following comments:

“They are so lovely and sing like angels”

“Look how smart and neat they look”

“Now it really feels like Christmas!”

Congratulations to the girls and staff involved. You certainly did add a special touch of Christmas to the new Salisbury Christmas Market.
