Pupils from Hampshire Collegiate School (HCS) gave a warm welcome to GB hockey player and Olympic medal winner 
Alex Danson, who visited the school today.
Alex captivated her audience of pupils from Years 5, 6, 7 & 8 with a presentation about her experiences both as a England and GB Hockey player.
The talk concluded with a fascinating insight into her experiences of living and training in the Olympic village and winning a bronze medal at London 2012.
Students from Bournemouth Collegiate School, North Oxfordshire Academy, Lambeth Academy, Guildford High School and Shoreham Academy also spent the day at HCS to listen to the presentation and attend a masterclass by Alex.
