Jane and Vicky from the Joe Glover Trust Children’s Cancer Charity based in Winchester, joined the children at Hampshire CollegiateHampshire Collegiate Prep School, to be presented with a cheque for £7355.11.

The money was raised by all the children from Nursery to Year 6 and staff from the school at their annual sponsored walk.

This was a new school record as no other group of children from Hampshire Collegiate School have raised so much money (and it is still coming in!) Pictured are some of the children from the school with Jane and Vicky, HCS Principal, Hector MacDonald, and staff member Mrs Kalirai who very generously donated a large sum of money.

Pupils Max Mehta and Freddie Scott individually raised over £300 each for the charity and won a 1000 house points for Nightingale.

Walk organiser and deputy head teacher Mr Giles King added: “This was an outstanding achievement. We are incredibly proud of the children and all that they have achieved.”
