After a long wait, GCSE results were announced today in the UK and our girls achieved an outstanding set of grades. Here are a few of the headlines:
- 52% of all grades were A*-A
- 92% of all grades were A*-C
- 40% of girls were awarded 5 or more A*-A grades
- A third of girls achieved all A*-A grades
As with last week’s A level results, our international students have again achieved excellent results from both our 1 Year GCSE Programme and our 2 Year GCSE Programme. Here are just some of the results:
- Riona from China (2 Year GCSE Programme) – 7A*s and 1 A
- Charlotte from Germany (1 Year GCSE Programme) – 3 A*s and 2As
- Stella from Nigeria (2 Year GCSE Programme) – 3A*s and 5 As
- Katharina from Germany (1 Year GCSE Programme) 4A*s and 1 A
