Harrogate Ladies College shortlisted for the ‘Education Initiative of the Year’ award

Harrogate Ladies’ College has been shortlisted in the ‘Education Initiative of the Year’ category at the national prestigious Independent School Awards. This is in recognition of the new and innovative Business School launched in November 2010 which encourages enterprise and entrepreneurialism in pupils from an early age. Set in an ultra-modern, business like environment, pupils enjoy the academic study of Economics, Accounting, Business Studies and Psychology. Mrs Judith Grazier, Head of Business School, commented ‘The thriving Business School is reflective of the successes already seen in pupils’ exam results and testament to the hard work of staff and pupils. This is a great accolade for the whole school’.
