After a long wait, GCSE results were announced today in the UK and our girls yet again, achieved excellent results. Here are a few of the headlines:
- 50% of all grades were A*-A (or the equivalent grade 9 to grade 7)
- 91% of all grades were A*-C (or the equivalent grade 9 to grade 4)
- A third of all science grades (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) were A*
- 90% of pupils got at least one A*/ A or the equivalent
As with last week’s A level results, our international students have again achieved excellent results from both our 1 Year GCSE Programme and our 2 Year GCSE Programme. Here are just some of the results:
- Zoe from Hong Kong (2 Year GCSE Programme) – 5 A*s and 5 As
- Mardiya from Nigeria (1 Year GCSE Programme) – 2 A*s and 5 As
- Ana from Germany (1 Year GCSE Programme) – 3 A*s, 1 A, and 4 Bs
