Hazlegrove had a day with a difference celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens.
Dickens information, book displays and quizzes were available in the three libraries resulting in a great surge of interest in Dickens’ books – lots of his books have been borrowed by the children.
The dining room corridor had also been decorated allowing the children to look at the displays whilst queuing for the special Dickensian lunch of : Pickwick Papers Pea Soup, Great Expectations Roast and Little Dorritt Dessert – a delicious meal enjoyed by all!
