After the weeks of rehearsing the very complicated show, Seussical Jr, Hazlegrove Year 6 were ready for their big 
moment and they were brilliant!
This musical is based on the stories of Dr Seuss and included wonderfully entertaining characters such as the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Horton the Elephant and the people from Whoville.
The outstanding support and direction from the music and drama departments meant that the children were able to sing, speak, act and dance with tremendous confidence.
At Hazlegrove, the choreographed routines (courtesy of Head of Drama and former West-End stage actress, Kimberley Arnold) seem to get increasing complicated from year to year but this poses no problem to the children.
With every child being involved in a major production every year, it means they quickly grasp new demands and rise to new challenges – taking on Seussical was no exception for Hazlegrove Year 6.
The stunning set (thanks to the art department) took the audience straight to fantasy land and the hours of effort put into the costumes and make-up made this a truly wonderful spectacular – well done everyone!
