The Burgess Hill School for Girls' Under 13 hockey team won the hockey tournament on Saturday 15th January at Woldingham School.
The Invitational 7-a-side tournament consisted of 16 competing teams. The Burgess Hill team had seven games in their group and won six of them, which qualified them for the semi finals against Downsend School.
The game finished 1-1 but Burgess Hill went through to the final after winning on penalty flicks. The team met Woldingham in the final and dominated the game. Burgess Hill won 2-0 and took the overall tournament title.
