Kelly College Pupils Pass Music Exams

At the end of Lent Term, seven pupils took their Associated Board Music Examinations, which resulted in several impressive grades, including a number of distinctions and merits.

The exams ranged from Grade 1 up to Grade 6 and featured a wide range of different instruments including violin, piano and clarinet. Two pupils also took theory exams.

Congratulations to Bethany Bourne, Laura Warren and Katherine Hawley, who passed their Grade 1 Violin, Grade 2 Flute and Grade 5 Theory of Music respectively.

Well done also to Robyn Edwards, who took two exams, earning a Grade 3 in Clarinet and a Grade 4 in Piano, and to Billy Allen who excelled in his Grade 5 Theory of Music, passing his exam with a Merit.

Finally, Distinctions were awarded to two pupils. Firstly, Charlotte Allen earned her Distinction in Grade 2 Flute. A special mention must go to Freddie Shere who earned Distinctions in Grade 6 Saxophone and Grade 3 Organ.
