This year, the Devon County ASA Championships, which was held at Plymouth’s Life Centre, was spread over 3 
weekends.
The Kelly College Swim Team put in an excellent all round performance and returned with some stunning results.
41 swimmers competed on the opening weekend and amassed a total of 6 Championship Wins, 3 Junior Championship Wins, 12 Age Group Wins, 1 Kelly College Record, 14 Kelly College Age Group Records and 187 Personal Bests.
This form was carried into the second weekend when, keen to build upon the previous week’s success, 48 swimmers headed back to Plymouth to compete. Their confidence was clear for all to see.
Highlights of the second weekend included 2 National Qualifying Times, 5 Championship Wins, 3 Junior Championship Wins, 2 Kelly College Open Records, 5 Kelly College Age Group Records, 62 Medals and 217 Personal Bests.
The third and final weekend saw the Kelly College Swim Team complete what must go down as one of the most successful competitions to date.
2 National Qualifying Times, 2 championship Wins, 1 Junior Championship Win, 10 Kelly College Age Group Records, 3 BAGCAT Wins, 51 Medals, 1 ‘Skins’ Win and 169 Personal Bests bolstered the team’s already impressive display.
