Kent College Students with their winning bin designs

As part of a drive to increase recycling on the school site, the Eco group at Kent College in Pembury wanted some more stylish and interesting bins around the site to encourage everyone to participate.  The Eco group approached the Heads of school houses,(Saxons, Danes and Celts) and they agreed to run an inter-house competition to design a sleeve to surround the bins. There were some very attractive and witty designs and it was difficult to make a choice but each house selected their three best designs and they were submitted to the Eco Group.  The final choices were made with the help of Mr Dixon and these four great designs were sent to the company to print and use to decorate the bins. Congratulations to all the girls whose designs were chosen – Sasha Cannon, Guinevere Poncia and Kirsty Girvan for their individual entries and Esme Ham, Livi Burroughs, Beth Hatcher, Natalie Holden, Megan Fisher and Catriona Tatchell for their group entry.
