King's Hall School EducAid Charity FeteKing’s Hall School’s Year 8 hosted the annual Leavers’ Charity Fete during the last week of term. As usual, Year 8 had been very inventive with the stalls and at break time advanced token sales topped the £600 mark – so everyone knew they were in for a busy time!

As the gates opened at 3.30pm the field was inundated. Very soon it was a question of whether revellers were going to get very wet (as a member of staff being sponged by delighted pupils), less wet on the water slide, or wet in patches from the water balloons and paddling pools. Then they could have a refreshing milkshake, eat cakes or win sweets before embarking on the obstacle course, football challenges and gladiator challenge. A huge thank you goes to everyone involved, both those staging the event and all the pupils and parents for their support.
