The Leys School’s musical ensembles have recently made their bow at the prestigious Saffron Hall.

The school’s various music groups performed their End of Year concert at the venue, with the jazz band ‘Big Noise’ opening the show, followed by an eclectic range of musical genres.

Max Kenworthy, director of music, closed the concert by thanking the music department and the staff of Saffron Hall, stating that everyone has “had a fantastic time”.

Saffron Hall is an award-winning 740-seat performance space with acoustic and state-of-the-art facilities. Since the hall opened in November 2013, artists including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Nicola Benedetti and Courtney Pine and The Sixteen have performed on its stage.
