Llandovery College pupil Mikha’el Seth has been offered a place at Churchill College, Cambridge to study Medicine in September 2019.
Mikha’el joined the college in Year 11 and is currently studying A Level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology. Beyond the classroom and as a boarder, he has embraced all aspects of college life; he is Head of Tŷ Gravell, chairs the Debating Society and is involved with Science Stars and the Psychology Society.
Mikha’el is also a member of both the Chapel Choir and College Choir and has been known to sing and perform with gusto in the Noson Lawen and Open Mic inter-House Competitions.
Mikha’el said: “It is incredible news and I am so relieved. Thank you to all the teachers and other pupils for supporting me.”
Warden Guy Ayling added: “Mikha’el has worked incredibly hard to get to this point and he deserves the success – we are all enormously proud of him.”
