Talented young Golfers from Loretto Junior School won the Junior Team Trophy at the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools national championships at Hill Valley Golf Club in Shropshire last Friday.
The team, consisting of Euan Cooper (11), Evdokios Demetrios (12) and Santiago Bulle Navarro (12) won the prestigious ‘1892 trophy’ for the winning team. Evdokios Demetrios also secured first place overall in the Under 12 category with Santiago Bulle Navarro coming second place also in the Under 12s.
Jonathan Hewat, Director of External Affairs and Loretto said: “ With well over 80 competitive young players from 30 different schools all over the UK competing for the silverware, and we are delighted with the tremendous success of the Loretto Golfers.”
