Talented young Golfers from Loretto Junior School won the Junior Team Trophy at the Independent Association of 
Preparatory Schools national championships at Royal Lytham & St Anne’s Golf Club last ?Friday.
The team, consisting of Murray Cooper (11), Ben Muncaster (11) and Lyle Murdoch (10), scored a team total of 89 points.
Lyle Murdoch also secured second place overall in the Under 11 competition with an individual points tally of ?38.
Jonathan Hewat, Director of External Affairs and Loretto said: “ With 81 competitive young players from 29 different schools all over the UK competing for the silverware, and we are delighted with the tremendous success of the Loretto Golfers.”
