LORETTO SCHOOL CHOIR IMPRESS DURING TOUR

35 members of the Loretto School Junior Choir have returned from four days away performing four concerts in four Loretto cHOIRdays.

Included in the concert programme was Highland and Hiphop dancing and solos.

A lunchtime concert was given at Hunter Hall school in Penrith.

Next stop was the Floral Pavilion theatre in Wallasey on The Wirral to perform two concerts as part of the theatre’s centenary celebrations.

The following day the Loretto School Choir led the worship at St Thomas’ Church, Blackpool.

In way of a little light relief the Choir visited the Beatles Story museum in Liverpool’s Albert Dock, climbed Liverpool Anglican Cathedral tower and attended Choral Evensong given by Liverpool Cathedral choir.

Jonathan Hewat, Director of External Affairs at Loretto School, said, "The tour was a wonderful coming together of music and dance from our younger pupils.
