The inaugural Independent Schools’ Golf Association Scottish Open took place at King’s Acre in Edinburgh, with Loretto Golf Academy taking the honours.
The competition is the premier Independent Schools one day stroke play event and is open to any pupil that attends an Independent School.
Loretto’s results were as follows;
- Under 15 Net Team Winners – Henry Anderson, John Dunn Butler, Cameron Blair
- Girls Champion – Lesley Atkins
- Boys Individual Net Runner Up – John Dunn Butler
- Boys Under 15 Gross Runner Up – Hamish Mills
Jonathan Hewat, Director of External Affairs and Loretto commented, “It was a rare sunny day in Edinburgh which made the inaugural ‘ISGA Scottish Open’ a great day of golf. With competitive young players from schools all over the UK competing for the silverware, and we are delighted with the tremendous success of the Loretto Golfers.”
