Loretto School – Jill is riding high after equestrian success

Loretto School pupil Jill SightYoung equestrian star, Jill Slight, 18 from Oxton, has been riding high after a number of successful qualifiers on her Show Hunter Pony, Seatshill Little Rogue.

Jill, a pupil at Loretto School near Edinburgh, qualified for the Royal International Horse Show at the British Show Pony Society and recently won her class at the first Horse of the Year Show at the Midland Counties.

Not content with stopping here, Jill has also built up a superb relationship with her new Intermediate Worker, Mystery Morn. The pair recently competed in their second Royal International Qualifier at Baston, Lincolnshire where they won and qualified. The talented duo have their first Horse of the Year Show Qualifier at the Royal Highland Show this weekend (23/24 June).

Jonathan Hewat, Director of External Affairs at Loretto School, said, “Jill is a real talent. She has shown great determination and skill.”
