The Royal Academy Outreach provided new challenges in a recent life drawing workshop, taught by artist Paul Brandford, winner of the Jerwood Drawing Prize and short listed for the Threadneedle Painting Prize www.paulbrandford.com.
Paul’s innovative teaching style really made the girls see drawing in a new light and invigorated their ways of looking, with amazing results.
The Art teachers felt that he had made a profound affect on the girls’ approach to making drawing and highly recommend his teaching.
New to life drawing, Year 10 produced some exceptional work which will be of great assistance when they start their self portrait projects after half term.
The Royal Academy outreach as been coming to Luckley for over four years and each time has been a highly rewarding experience for all.
