Luckley House School in Wokingham has launched an exciting new website, in keeping with the school’s new modern, contemporary brand.

Visitors to the website are in for a real visual treat, with the chance to watch five dynamic films about different aspects of school life. The videos include an introduction from Mrs Jane Tudor, Headmistress, as well as themed films about the creative arts, sport, academics and boarding, all featuring current pupils and staff talking about their own experiences and views about Luckley. Parents considering senior schools for their daughters will be able to get a real flavour of life at Luckley, both from the films and from the comprehensive information available on the site.

There is also a fun element to the site for the younger visitors. Children will love the ‘Doodle film’ entitled ‘Oscar’s Day at School’. This film uses cutting-edge technology to show a moving doodle sketch of a fictional day at school, with the Headmistress’ Labrador puppy, Oscar. The mischievous puppy goes from class to class, having fun and getting into all sorts of trouble!

Mrs Tudor says “To our knowledge, ours is the only school website to feature a Doodle Film, so we are really excited about the launch. The new site offers prospective families a wealth of information about the school, but it does only scratch the surface. I hope it will tempt them to visit us to find out more.”

The school is holding Open Mornings on Tuesday 18 March and Thursday 8 May 2014. Email Registrar@luckleyhouseschool.org or telephone 0118 978 4175 to book.
