Malvern St James Girls’ School ran rings around the competition at the Worcestershire School Games last week finishing the day as Champions of the Rounders tournament.
Having successfully qualified earlier in the Summer Term, the team of nine Year 10 girls were invited to compete in the Rounders tournament as part of the action-packed Worcestershire School Games event.
The hard-hitting, sharp-eyed MSJ team won all five Rounders matches against schools from across the county. Excellent performances came from Elysia Garland as backstop and Penny Green as the top hitter.
