We are delighted to announce that four girls from Malvern St James have been offered places at Oxford and 
Cambridge University this year.
Anna Baird has been offered a place to read Classics at Oxford together with her fellow pupil Weiyi Zhang who has been offered a place to read Engineering.
Sara Devereux and Jia Ying Yan have both been offered places at Cambridge University to read Natural Sciences and Chemical Engineering respectively.
Anna Baird shared the excitement at her achievement: “I am so thrilled with the prospect of studying the subject I love, with experts in their field at Oxford. This prestigious university enjoys a long and distinguished history in the field of Classics and I am very much looking forward to making the most of the many opportunities on offer.”

These individual successes demonstrate the diversity of subjects at which girls from Malvern St James excel. Year on year excellent A Level results ensure that many pupils from Malvern St James go onto gain university places every year at some of the country’s top universities including Durham University, Bristol University and University College London as well as Oxford and Cambridge.
