Merchiston Castle wins the u14 ISGA Junior Cup , net team title at the The Shire golf course in London on Monday .
The team consisted of Kayau Siu , Jamie Boyd and Ronan Dowds
The boys` combined winning score was 140 strokes – 72 , 68 . With Ronan Dowds winning the Individual title with a net 68. Being Scotlands sole representative , Merchiston can be very proud of its overall performace against many of Englands prep and senior independent schools .
Merchistons Director of Golf said "I am so proud of all our boys not only in their result but how they learnt to adapt to a new enviroment. At this age group it is about participation , enjoyment and learning to play the game under tournament conditions; a fantastic experience was had by all".
