Last Thursday, some of our 1st VII squad were put through their paces by Russell Earnshaw, assistant coach to 
the England Sevens team.
Mr Earnshaw, a back row forward, has represented England at eight levels and played for England Sevens from 1997-2003. He became assistant coach for the final two legs of the 2007 IRB World Series.
The boys learned the importance of communication and to stay deep when in possession of the ball. They also learned how to press when the opposition were in possession.
Mr Earnshaw’s philosophy is “I want players to enjoy what they are doing and be the best that they can be.”
