Monkton Celebrates 2011 A & AS results
Monkton Senior School pupils are celebrating today. Sixth formers picked up results today which included 48 exams in which a Monkton pupil scored full marks. In addition, one Y13 pupil scored 615 UCAS points, more than the equivalent of four A* grades at A level!
Monkton does not release its results’ aggregates to the media as a point of principle – were we to do so, the school’s performance might become more important to us than the appropriate advice and best performance of each pupil. At AS level, we are celebrating our best results ever. Nearly half the year group scored at least 2 A grades in their AS levels.
