Moreton Hall Pop-Up BookshopMoreton Enterprises, Moreton Hall’s student run business, is delighted to announce the launch of their latest venture: a pop-up bookshop.

Working in partnership with Oswestry’s Booka Books, recently named the UK’s Independent Bookshop of the Year 2015, the pop-up bookshop will feature the latest top titles in teenage and young adult fiction, as well as a range of book related gifts and accessories.

The pop-up bookshop’s director, Harriet Lang (16 from Knockin) said “this is a great opportunity for us to bring a range of wonderful books into the heart of the school and to allow us to forge links with an award winning local business. In the countdown to our launch, Carrie and Tim Morris have been working closely with my team, to introduce us to the business of book selling. Despite the rise of the eBook, the teenage book market continues to thrive and we are very excited to be a part of that. We hope the bookshop will become the new destination of choice for Moreton Hall girls and help encourage reading while at the same time supporting our local independent bookshop.”

Carrie Morris, owner of Booka bookshop, says, “We are very excited to be working with Moreton Enterprises to launch our first ‘pop-up’ bookshop.  It is a wonderful opportunity for us to create a bespoke bookshop, shaped by the reading needs and tastes of pupils at Moreton.”
