Moreton Girl Wins Junior National Final

Moreton Hall Cranmer Award WinnerMorgan-Darcy Rees-Deacon, aged 12, was awarded first prize in this year’s prestigious Junior National Finals of the Cranmer Awards last week in London.
Reciting from the Book of Common Prayer, Morgan-Darcy presented ‘The Annunciation of The Blessed Virgin Mary.’ Head of Spoken English at Moreton Hall, Merriel Halsall-Williams, said: ‘Morgan’s presentation was absolutely outstanding. The judges were incredibly impressed by her.’
Fellow Moreton student, Charlotte Eyre (aged 17) also impressed the judges coming third nationally in the senior finals for her presentation of ‘The Epiphany.’
