Eight Moreton Girls have beaten fierce competition and have secured a coveted place in the North Regional Lacrosse Team. The selection process was lengthy and difficult, with two separate trial dates and over fifty skilled sportswomen from Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and Shropshire competing for their shared goal.

It was announced on Sunday 15th January that eight Moreton Hall girls will join the North Regional A & B Lacrosse Squads. This is a staggering number; especially as almost half of the A squad will be comprised of Moreton Hall girls.

Moreton Hall Regional North LacrosseThe A Squad:

Florence Wade-Smith (Co-Captain), 18.  Serena Grace, 17.  Tia Barlow, 18.

Tara Beasley, 17. Millie Home, 15.  Georgina Grace, 15. Eliza Kiel, 16.

The B Squad:

Hattie Jones, 15

This is a fantastic achievement as with this new accolade, these girls are now one step closer to playing at a National level.  England is split into just 3 regions, North, South East and South West and these three squads will compete to be crowned champion at the Regional Tournament on 18th and 19th March, hosted by the University of Warwick. This recent success in Lacrosse is testament to dedicated coaches and talented students at Moreton Hall.
