Mr Gove promised he would introduce more stringent marking at GCSE, making the elite A* grades harder to achieve, yet Moreton Hall is delighted to announce that it has bucked the national trend, achieving a stunning 30% of A* grades and 65% A*-A.

“The overall results were once again very strong across the board, but we are particularly pleased that 25% of our girls achieved straight A*-A, and that a significant number of girls achieved full marks in their various modules.
