Continuing a tradition of success in lacrosse at Moreton Hall, six of the fifteen team members recently picked for the Shropshire U13 Lacrosse Team are from the school. They include Camilla Smith, Lanxi Benady, Beth Clacher, Silvia Sancho, Lucy Reade and Katie Billing.
Annie Nicholls, Grace Samuel and Lily Mainwaring have been chosen as reserves.
Lacrosse has been played at Moreton for nearly 100 years, competing successfully at National, Regional and County level. Moreton has an established link with the English lacrosse Association, now enhanced by the recent appointment of a Lacrosse Development Officer, base at Moreton Hall.
The Shropshire team will play Oxton Lacrosse Club on Sunday 24 June at Moreton.
