Moreton Hall Geographer Scores Country’s Top A Level Mark

Every year the Royal Geographic Society recognises those students from schools across England, Northern Ireland andMoreton Hall geographic society Wales who achieve the highest score in their Geography GCSEs and A Levels.

Phoebe Griffith, who left Moreton Hall in July to take up her place at Brasenose College, Oxford, was recently awarded a cash prize and a certificate by the Royal Geographic Society for achieving the highest score in the AQA A Level Geography examination in 2012. The Royal Society comments:

“The Royal Society congratulates Phoebe on her exceptional grade. This is testament to her hard work and ability as a geographer, along with the high quality teaching that has taken place in her school”.
