Moreton student, Ellie Russell, won the Under 11 Girls' race at the North Wales Cross Country Championships held at the Rhug Estate, Corwen on the 29th January to become North Wales Champion.
She was also part of the U11 team which competed at the Abberley Relays at Abberley Hall on Sunday February 6th in which she came third. Moreton fielded teams in both the U11 and U13 age groups.
The junior girls finished 2nd on Saturday February 5th in the Shropshire Schools' Cross Country Tournament held in Oswestry, with Kitty Peel finishing 5th. This qualifies Kitty for the Inter Counties Championships, where she will represent Shropshire on March 19th.
